Underground Gas Line Installation
These pictures are from a New-Build project we completed. In these builds the HVAC contractors had to perform underground gas line installations. The left is our competitors, the right is ours. Technically both are up to code, and passed all inspections with the Utility provider. But one is clearly presented in a cleaner, and more professional manner. It takes a little bit of extra time to match colours of materials, and maybe a few extra dollars, but it’s for something that you have for life.
BBQ Gas Line Installation
Yes, that photo on the left is a real photo of a home in the Huron area of Kitchener. The gas line was left just sitting on top of the deck, 6 inches off the wall. The new owner was shocked and wanted it fixed immediately. So we did. We took it apart from inside, re-piped it with ring stays secured tightly and neatly to the brick. Added a premium outdoor box for the gas line with safety features. These gas boxes do not allow you to turn the gas on until the gas line is plugged in, and you cannot remove the gas line until the gas is shut-off.
Pool Heater Gas Line Installation
Gas Line Installations for Pool Heater require precision, calculation and often times, a Meter Upgrade. Many Residential homes in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and the surrounding areas come with Gas Meters capable of supporting around 250,000 BTUs. For reference, residential Pool Heaters can easily hit 200,000 BTUs if not more depending on the size of your pool. This leaves very little gas flow left for the rest of the appliances in your home. We do calculations based on the gas appliances in your home, your new pool heater, and decide whether it’s advisable to contact the utility supplier to upgrade the meter (don’t worry, they’ll do it for free, and we’ll co-ordinate the meter upgrade for you!).
Gas Range & Cooktop Line Installation
As the saying goes, now we’re cooking with gas! A high performance gas range completely transforms your cooking experience. Instant heat, less waiting, and more time spent eating your favourite dishes. We make sure to plan the run as to not add any extra bulkheads in your basement, and keep it all tight and secure. We always install floor flanges for flexible gas lines to keep it secured for time, and only used CSA approved piping and flex connectors. A shut-off is always placed behind your new gas range, and a 2nd one is placed in the manifold downstairs. Pressure and leak tests for each line, with tags left behind. Don’t forget we are an all-in-one HVAC company, so we’ll be able to do your new range hood as well.
